Jet Black & Ivory Maheshwari Silk-Cotton Saree with Mustard Accents, Paisley Block-Printed Pallu & Rust Zari Border

An exceptionally chic, earthy, and sophisticated piece that perfectly fuses traditional Maheshwari handloom weaving with heritage block-printing artistry. Featuring a sleek jet-black body contrasted by a cream-and-mustard printed pallu and a warm rust-orange zari border, this saree offers a striking, contemporary aesthetic. It is an ideal choice for corporate formal wear, gallery openings, literary events, cultural functions, and festive daytime affairs.

Key Features:

  • Fabric: Premium Maheshwari Silk-Cotton Blend, highly prized for its gossamer lightness, breathable comfort, and delicate natural sheen that holds a crisp, elegant drape all day.

  • Color Palette: A bold base of Jet Black, beautifully framed by Cream/Ivory, Ochre Mustard Yellow, Charcoal Black, and anchored by a vibrant Rust-Orange Zari edge.

  • Saree Body Design: Minimalist and deeply impactful:

    • Solid Black Canvas: The main field is a clean, solid jet-black woven silk-cotton that creates a striking visual contrast against the multi-colored border and pallu.

  • Border & Pallu Artistry: Richly embellished with intricate hand-block printing and classic Maheshwari motifs:

    • The Leafy Printed Running Border: A continuous off-white running border printed with delicate black leaf-and-vine chevrons, framed by a slim mustard yellow band and finished with a distinct rust-orange zari selvedge.

    • The Paisley Block-Printed Pallu: The contrast cream pallu serves as the focal point, featuring large, traditional paisley (kalka) motifs hand-printed in ochre-mustard and rust, framed by solid black and mustard bands with woven gold zari pinstripes throughout.

  • Blouse Coordinate: Pairs seamlessly with a solid black sleeveless/high-neck blouse (as styled in the image), a rust-orange silk blouse, or an earthy printed cotton blouse to highlight the pallu tones.
