Body: The saree is made from classic Kota Doria fabric, celebrated for its signature open-weave technique.
Texture: It has a lightweight, crisp, and semi-translucent quality. The entire body features the characteristic "khat" grid structure—fine, micro-square checks woven into the fabric using varying thread weights, giving it a beautifully airy and structural drape.

Main Shade: The main body is rendered in a rich, deep indigo blue or midnight navy hue that radiates understated elegance.
Border Contrast: The dark base is beautifully framed by linear borders featuring a harmonious blend of magenta pink, bright violet, and gleaming gold zari stripes.

The Borders: The garment is accented by two distinct handloom borders:
- Length borders: Running along the upper and outer edges is a neat, medium-width border composed of fine, alternating vertical stripes of magenta pink and gold zari threadwork.
