Design Details

  • The Body: The saree features a striking midnight dark base adorned with a dense, striking Kalamkari-inspired jaal (network) print. The intricate ivory and beige motifs beautifully depict traditional peacocks nestled amidst blooming marigolds and swirling vines.

  • The Border: A dramatic contrast is introduced by the vivid crimson red border running along the length of the saree. It is woven with a rich, dense antique gold zari layer featuring delicate floral vines, creating a magnificent frame for the dark body.

  • The Pallu: The contrast crimson red pallu matches the border's opulence, featuring sweeping horizontal bands of lustrous gold zari work. It terminates in a modern geometric chevron/zigzag pattern block at the extreme end, adding a striking contemporary edge to the traditional design.
