Design & Craftsmanship

  • The Body: The main body of the saree features an elegant pattern of fine, vertical gold zari pinstripes (Leheriya or Lines) running throughout. Woven delicately between these lines are scattered, tiny gold zari butis (leaf or floral specks) that add a refined, understated shimmer.

  • The Border: The saree is framed by a distinct, medium-width gold zari border woven with traditional geometric bands and chevron patterns. Along the lower edge, this zari border sits atop a broad band of contrasting magenta pink, giving the drape a heavy, festive silhouette.

  • The Pallu: The pallu showcases a gorgeous transition, combining a solid textured green section detailed with fine micro-dots (meenda work) and broad bands of gold zari. It finishes on a bright magenta block and is accented with hand-tied dark green thread tassels (jhallar) along the hemline.
